Nanco Helicopters Santa Barbara Channel Islands Helicopter Tour
The Channel Islands belong to the Channel Island National Park and they are known for their untouched and preserved natural environment. Five islands off the Southern California coast comprise one of America’s most remote and utterly magical national parks. See there beauty from the perspective of our helicopter. The Channel Islands are rich with American history, with native Chumash features and stories of European settlers. The Channel Islands are home to a very diverse ecosystem with wildlife found nowhere else on the planet. During the Nanco Helicopters Santa Barbara Channel Islands tour we will be taking a closer look at the Anacapa and Santa Cruz islands. Only a 12 minute flight to reach the islands, we will have plenty of time to observe and experience these gorgeous islands. We will be staying along the coastline of the islands throughout the entire helicopter flight tour. Come explore the California coastline in our helicopter and we promise you a memory that will last a lifetime.
This tour offers you a closer look at the sceneries that are hard to reach without Nanco Helicopter’s assistance. Santa Cruz Island will be our first landmark of the trip. Continuing on we will take a closer look at Mount Diablo also known as “Devil’s Peak,” which is the highest peak of the Channel Islands. Before leaving the Santa Barbara Channel Islands to head back to the coast, we will pass the historical Prisoners Harbor and Coche Point. Before landing we will take a lap around downtown Santa Barbara, specifically looking at the Santa Barbara Harbor followed by Stearns Wharf, which many of you know as the Santa Barbara pier. Before landing, we will pass Santa Barbara’s historical Old Mission. This tour of the Channels Islands provides a clear contrast between the natural central coast environment and the populated city of Santa Barbara.
